Community Champion Awards June 2007
The club did very well being nonimated in three catorgies, Georgia (one of our junior members) came a close second in the Young Achiever award.

We then went on to win the Best Club Award beating the Rising Sun Aikido and The Barcode Cafe.

We were also one of about ten nominated for the Teacher of the year award.

 

nationals 15th Oct 2006
Six members of the sbjk attended the nationals on 15th october in High Wycombe, the all fought very well winning between them 5 medals and were a credit to the club. We would like to see more people attend next year.

Easter Course April 2006
Some very good news after the Easter Course; Glenda Chapman has been awarded Black Belt 4th Dan and Ben Herniman has been awarded Junior Black Belt due to impressing the senior grades while he was Uki to Glenda's kata's - Congratulations to both of them.

The Sakura Bana Judo Kwai held its first league on the 13th November which was very well attended by our members with a large contingent of the new members attending. All fought very well and had an enjoyable day. The winning teams were.

Judo Nationals
Seven members of the Sakura Bana Judo Kwai attended the nationals championships in High Wycome on Sunday 16th October and came away with seven medals between them.
