Some of the things shown on this site may not be thought of as sensible!
I accept no responsibility for your stupidity or attempts to emulate what you see!
Due diligence!
Like all activities and especially extreme sports, they look deceptively easy when performed
by skilled individuals.
Traction kites are very, very powerful, even small ones - they must be treated with respect!
If you wish to take part in the sport...
Read all you can on the net, talk to other kite flyers, join a club if you can and get someone
to give you some guidance when buying a kite, visit your local stockist and explain to
him/her what you want from the sport. It's all too easy to purchase a monster from the internet and
get bitten!
I strongly recommend anyone wanting to take up the sport speaking to Dom & Barry at UFO
(see links, no I don't get commission!)
Get yourself insured - be responsible.
Consider others, protect them from you, your kite, your preferred mode of transport, your litter and your language.
Wear protective clothing!
A helmet, a pair of sunglasses and sun block should be the minimum; elbow, knee, wrist & shin protectors
are a good idea, some even wear full body armour.
You may look cool in baggies & baseball hat but t's not cool to hurt yourself.
Whatever you do, be safe and have lots of fun!
